Our Village

We are in the Eifel region of Germany, which is largely Catholic. It's a farming area; the hills are dotted with small villages like ours. Every village has a Catholic church at its center. Some of the larger villages have other types of churches as well.

Peanut says, "Look mom, you can see the church from everywhere!"



This is a little chapel right across the street from our house.

The girls love to go in to say "Hi!" to God
and to light a candle for people we've been keeping in our prayers.
