Lolo's Luau

Lolo wanted a Hawaiian Luau for her 14th birthday. While we were looking for ideas on the internet, BooBaby decided to try writing a murder mystery. It turned out to be very challenging! But, the party was a hit! (Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Jackson for sending us all the great Hawaiian stuff we needed!!!)

Lolo loved the cute little Hawaiian dress here grandma in Hawaii sent her! And all the guest were very impressed by the decorations and the hula skirts they got!

This is during one of the mystery scenes. Everybody is reading from their scripts and acting their parts. It was really fun and became very loud sometimes.
It was our main concern that the mystery would turn out to be unsolvable. But I guess Lolo has some good dectectives for friends! They discussed all the possibilities, thought outside the box and took advantage of the clues lying around the crime scene. All girls gave very convincing accusations and three of them got it right! (It was Kamanaka, BooBaby's part, in the kitchen with a couple leaves of poisonous Yellow Oleander!)

These are some of our decorations we created for the Luau.
Here is Lolo standing in front of the sign for the Hula School and drinking out of a Plumeria cup with a home-made drink umbrella!
