We thought you might want to see the well outside our house in the driveway. Bubbles loves to play in the trough in the front yard, but sometimes the water ends up in the dirt and the dirt ends up in the water. You know what I mean! So, Dad needs to get water out of the well and refill the trough...
Our landlord has a long stick with a special hook at the end to hold the bucket. Put the bucket in, scoop up some water and heave it back up.
Then we have to rember to put the lid and stone back over the well. We would use the hose, but it takes electricity to pump the water. Meaning, we have to plug it into and outlet, and that could be dangerous. Just thought I'd show you, its pretty cool! You would never have to do this in a regular American house.
