Fasching Karneval 2008

Fasching is here again! This year, Peanut's kindergarten is in a clown floa this year in the parade! Here's Peanut's costume:

Here's some pics of the parade. Because this is a small village, the parade was really short, but it was still fun!

There was a ski resort float (see the people sledding after the float :)

Also, there were hula dancers, disco dancers, a group of devils, and one farmer, looking for a Frau (wife) we think.... The straight translation is: A farmer without a wife, it is a really poor sow!

Yes, it's a man in a viking costume :) They played a version of "Oh Susanna" on that float but it was in German and they said "Oh Taquila"

This one was our favorite and the conclusion of the parade. Pirates of the Caribbean with lots of Jack Sparrows aboard! They threw chocolate gold coins at us, thanks Jack!
