Shrunken Heads

The same day that Trixie was chasing Simba around, we were picking up some apples that fell off the trees. We carved them to look like heads and were planning on them drying to look like shrunken heads...the ones that Martha Stewert makes. Well, it doesn't work! You're supposed to dip the in lemon juice and salt so they don't get moldy. But they do, it only took one week for them to get disgustingly rotten! We were really excited about making shruken heads too, they look so creepy in the magazine :(
