What's the difference?

This is a picture of two different type of eggs. the two yellow ones are the "normal" Danish eggs we buy at the commissary and the two orange ones are some German eggs we bought that said the chickens were feed "auf dem Bodem" or "on the ground"-- maybe that means they are free-range? Not sure... anyway guess which ones have more vitamins and minerals.

Free-range eggs have more vitamin A (which makes them orange), much more omega 3s, and vitamin-C. Free-range eggs also contain about half as much cholesterol as a "caged egg". The reason for this is, unlike a chicken locked in a cage eating grain, free range chickens have a diverse diet. The foods they may eat include large amounts of insects, grass, weeds and clovers. This variety of natural food makes a free-range chicken's eggs rich in nutrients. And, taste-tested at breakfast this morning, taste better! by Lolo
